ATEEZ’s Hongjoong has entered his DJ era. The ATEEZ leader made his debut DJ set at EDC Korea 2026 on Sunday under the moniker NO1 — his first solo festival appearance.
According to the original r/kpop discussion, fan-shot clips captured Hongjoong behind the decks as the crowd danced and head-banged through the set. His own ATEEZ bandmates were spotted filming fancams from the sidelines.
Per pre-event coverage, Hongjoong took over the Circuit Grounds stage at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon from 8 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 4. The festival ran Oct. 3 and 4, with a lineup that included Tiësto, DJ Snake and Illenium.
Fans in the thread were effusive. One commenter wrote that Hongjoong “was having a blast up there and the crowd was dancing and head-banging right along,” adding it “would have been awesome to be there in person.” Another said he “put a ton of work into his set,” which mixed several original songs with ATEEZ remixes — “the Bad remix was so good.”
Hongjoong took a hands-on role in shaping the set, personally remixing and arranging the tracks on the setlist, including ATEEZ’s own songs. Ahead of the show he told fans, “I have prepared breaking and iconic things for you, so please look forward to it — and see you all under the electric sky,” according to the Korea JoongAng Daily.
Whether NO1 returns to festival stages remains to be seen — for now, clips from the debut set are making the rounds online.
